What is a diaper cake?

Diaper cakes, or baby shower cakes, are rolled up diapers that are stacked to resemble a tiered cake. Useful baby items such as hooded towels, receiving blankets, bibs and burp cloths are wrapped around the layers and extra special goodies such as toys, pacifiers, nail clippers, socks, toiletries, etc. are tucked in to make the ultimate baby gift! Perfect for a new mom, but also great for 2nd ,3rd and beyond time parents too, after all, what could be more practical for any new arrival than diapers? A diaper cake makes a beautiful centerpiece if you are hosting a shower, so it can do double duty and save you money by being the centerpiece and the gift! Or-What a nice, practical gift to bring to the hospital that goes beyond the usual balloons and flowers! (although just as beautiful and thoughtful)

What size diapers do you use?

I use size 1 -2 diapers (8lbs-14lbs). If you would like a different size, just email me and I will be glad to accommodate you. I use Parents Choice and White Cloud brand diapers, I will make your cake with any brand or diapers you wish. A fee may apply for using brand name diapers.Will you ship directly to the gift recipient? Sure! At your request, I can send the package directly to the gift recipient. You can write a short message to the gift recipient, your name and message will be hand written on the back of the recipe card attached to the cake.
